Our Support and Sustainment Services have been designed to accommodate and address all your Team Foundation Server needs. Whether you need help with operational tasks or resolve complex issues, our TFS experts are ready to help. Our expertise in TFS is unparalleled in the market place and we specialize in all aspects of Team Foundation Server.
Tailored to your company’s specific business needs, our Sustainment and Support services brings the knowledge of TFS experts directly to you, helping to identify and resolve issues proactively. We do not have a multi-tier support staff and programs in place; our staff is equivalent with tier 2 support and higher.
While we label our services as “Anything TFS”, here is a shortlist of services covered in our packaged offering:
- Platform Optimization. We can analyze your current TFS state both from an architectural level as well as from an end user perspective and provide you with TFS best practices that would increase your user experience and maximize your investment.
- Migrations. If you are in the process of migrating to TFS from another Source Control system or from another TFS implementation we can assist with the migration process and help you with risk mitigation. Migrations can be fairly complex; PRAKTIK has the expertise to help you with any migration issues/tasks you may encounter.
- TFS Customization. Whether you are looking to enhance some of out of the box features of TFS or if you encountered issues we can help. Typical customizations around process templates and reporting are common, we not only have the expertise to help you out but at the same time we understand the implications that certain customizations will introduce.
- Issue Resolution. Solving certain issues could take time away from your schedule, TFS is what we do and solving complex issues is not new to us. We have a close relationship with the Microsoft TFS product team and we can leverage it for those really tough scenarios, but not to worry we can coordinate everything for you.
- Sustainment. Our sustainment tasks are based on the number of hours that you are committing to every month. As part of the sustainment tasks are we can assist you with operational tasks as well as taking a proactive approach on keeping your platform healthy. A proactive monitoring of your platform ensures that you have a good handle on capacity, performance, availability, backup and recovery related tasks.
